After reading the label and brochure, we bought a bag of adult cat food, After using IAMS for 15 years, we`ve switched to Sheila`s Pick 30/12, Our cats love it! Excuse the descriptive nature of the comments but your food not only goes in easy but it comes out easy and sometimes that`s an issue with older cats.

We want to thank you for producing your Beaverdam dog food. We have a 14 year old chocolate lab, Last winter he was not well enough to hunt and we were going to have to have him put down this summer, in February we bought a female chocolate lab, in August when it was time to change from the puppy chow, we decided to to try Beaverdam for both. Well the puppy is doing wonderful, but the miracle is our older lab, His over all health is a complete change for the better, His coat which had been getting progressiveiy lighter and more washed out over the years, is now the same color as the puppy`s. He now gets up and follows us around the yard again and eats every bit of his food.
Thank you so much for this wonderful product and I hope you continue for many years. We`ve been spreading the word.

As I mentioned before, my 16 year old springer spaniel chases after lawnmower, moves easily up the stairs, eats your food with eagerness, and generally has a smile on her face--- although I may be the only one who can see it. She even chases after and plays with my Turkish Van cat, who is 15 years old. My cat is less obvious in her feeding time with her enthusiam, as she prefers to be more
" sophisticated " -- ha!! This is certainly in sharp contrast from the lethargic, slow moving, decrepit, unhappy pets I lived with before.
My vet had recommened euthanizing my dog last spring. I just happened to notice your display at Willey Farms Store. I want to add that now MY life has improved also, I anticipate living a longer time with two beautiful, loving animals. Thank you so much.

We wanted to take moment to thank you for producing such a great product. We have 2 Shar-pel`s (which are known for their numerous health conditions) who are doing great on it. We have tried every brand imaginable,and when we bought our first" plain white bag " of Beaverdam Pet food, our seearch was over. Before finding this product, we had been feeding them a very expensivie Lamb & rice formula, which they did ok on, but not great. I came across one of your advertisements in the Smyrna Food Lion, and decided to give it a try. I`m so glad I did, Both of our dogs suffered from severe dry skin, dermatitis, and sensitive stomachs, There have been periods of time when we had to cook chicken and rice for them ourselves in an attempt to help them out. By the time they had finished the first 20 lb bag of your food, we knew we were going to a
loyal customers. theis coats look so much healthier, and they finally have relief from their extreme dry skin. they can finally enjoy lounging around without scratching themselves all day! I recommend your product to everyone I know who owns a cat or dog. and I follow up with them too, to make sure that at least that they give it a try. a year ago I met the people of Beaverdam at Puptoberfest in St, Anthony`s
in the Hills, it was quite an event and I walked away with some free pet
food thinking I would have my mother`s dog give it a try. Apparently
my mother`s dog loved it and has been eating it ever since(now that they
are out in Ohio I don`t know what they`ll do)
Now I have my own dog. I could have easily gone to any other pet food out there but my experiuence with Beaverdam Pet Food stuck with me, My dog Sami, which was obtained as a retired show dog, was gradually switched from Purina One to Beaverdam. The obvious difference that I witnessed nearly halfway through the change was her stools were less oily and more firm.
In all the transformation has been phenomenal. To begin with she LOVES the food. Her coat is gorgrous and I get lots of complements for it. Overall she`s a very healthy dog. I believe that Beaverdam has a lot to do with it. I trust that the right ingredients are added to provide optimum benefits for my new family member. This comes from a person that reads every label to make sure that things like glycerin or other items she can`t pronounce or describe aren`t in her dog`s treats.
Keep up the good work, I hope someday people realize that there is much better food that you feed your dog and it`s called Beaverdam Pet Food

I have a 7 year old Americam Bulldog, Lizzy, suffers from arthritis,allergies,
and sensitive skin. I have tried numerous expensive specialty foods in the past, and have found some worsened her symptoms, and the others didn`t help her much at all. I saw your food and brochures at Raley`s market in Ridge, Md. and thought I should give it a try. It is wonderful !!! Lizzy is in less pain and has more energy than she`s had in years.
It is so great to see her playful side again, I also see improvement in her skin condition and her digestive system ( she used to be quite gassy).but not anymore.

I wanted to let you know that my husban drove to the hardware store in Mardela Springs several weeks ago to purchase some of your dogfood. he bought the hi-protein product. Our dogs love it !! our small 12 pound dog has so manyallergies and is a very picky eatter and she gobbles it. Our black lab`s coat has never been so soft and shiny. Both of them do not have dry skin anymore and have much more energy. I had been taking our little one to the vet every two weeks for skin and food allergies, but since feeding her Beaverdam High protein food I have not had to take her back. My what a saving !! We have spent well over $1500.00 on her. I wish that I have known about Beaverdam dog food before,but like they say, better late then never. Thank you so much for producing such a great dog food.

was so excited to receive my load of Beaver Dam dog food (Skipper's Choice)
today! After having fed it to my 6 Great Danes in the house for 1 month
I was hooked (and so were they)! My other 6 were fed the same food I have
been feeding for 15 years. The difference in their coat, energy level
and stool was very evident. My 6 on Skipper's Choice were showing higher
energy levels, their coats were softer with less shedding and the stool
was nicely formed with NO odor! I also can feed less as your foods quality
and nutrients are superior to my other brand. It has been difficult to
find a food with lower protein levels that are needed for the fast growing
giant breeds without sacrificing on quality, I have finally found that
food! People at dog shows ask me what I am feeding my guys as they look
great and now I can direct them to you for the same results I am seeing.

It has taken me some time to write to you folks about my past experience with my Mini Doxie’s. I have two females and both recently began producing urine crystals. They are not related and had not had this problem in their previous home. This led me to believe it was something in their diet and/or environment. I went through various medicines, prescription diets, antibiotics, etc. They drink distilled water and no human food is permitted. We would move ahead one step and fall back two.
At
the Selbyville Pet and Garden Center open house a few months back, I was
told about this food by your representative (sorry I’ve forgotten
his name). I tried the trial package, which the pups loved, but I was
afraid it was a little too high in protein. Then I changed to Skipper’s
Choice and was worried the size of the kibbles was too large for my pups.
They were very fond of the flavor and didn’t mind the extra chewing.
Most important though, I had their urine checked 6 weeks after changing to Beaverdam and their PH was fine and no crystals. I reacted with guarded optimism because of my past experiences. I recently had the older pup’s urine checked again (5 weeks after the first check) and the results were almost identical to the previous analysis. I want to add that they eat better, they have completely stopped throwing up bile (which both were doing), and their stools are much healthier. I’ve continued them on the U/D by Science Hill and mix it with the Beaverdam. This just happens to be what works for my pups at this time. I am aware this problem could happen again and understand that Doxie’s are prone to urinary problems. However, just to have them where they are today is a real blessing. If they could reach you, I am sure they would have a big, sloppy kiss for you.

At our residence we now have two dogs. The oldest is a male, yellow lab named Jasper. He is now about 18 months old and has been on Beaver Dam - Blue Label - Adult High Energy dog food since I got him at 8 weeks old. Now I know he is a young dog, but I can't get over how beautiful his coat is, and most of all how he doesn't smell bad. To elaborate a little, he doesn't have bad breath nor does he have that proverbial "doggy odor". I am really amazed to see these kinds of effects just by the food I give him.
Our second dog is my wife's Bichon Frise - Snow Angel (I refer to her as the little white foo foo dog). We got her when she was about 9 to 10 weeks old. The breeder we got her from gave us a bag of Diamond puppy food and told us to continue with that. So because of my wife's persistence to do as the breeder says and against my opposition to just put her on Beaver Dam like we did with Jasper; we had her on the Diamond Puppy food until she was about six months old. Keep in my mind our little puppy had one problem - very heavy eye drainage. This left her muzzle stained almost completely black (on an all white dog) and a smelly unpleasant odor from the drainage. We had talked to the Veterinarian about this. He put her under and did a full exam on her tear ducts and flushed them. His findings were that the tear ducts were there, intact, and normal (no blockage etc). He told us that there was nothing that could be done for this problem and that this is how our dog is going to be the rest of her life.
It was at about six months old we started Snow Angel on the same food we were giving Jasper (Beaver Dam - Blue Label - Adult High Energy dog food). It has been about two months now and much to our surprise her eye drainage has just short of completely stopped. There still is a very small amount of drainage, but based on what we have seen and once her existing stained hair grows out etc. We expect to have an all white dog without a black muzzle from eye drainage. I can't hardly believe it, but seeing is believing.

We are most satisfied with Beaverdam Pet Food. Our yellow lab, Gretchen, is now eleven years old and is doing great. For the past two or so years she has been eating Skipper`s Choice and loves it. In fact she is hesitant to eat anything else. A few weeks after we started using this product we noticed that Gretchen`s stool`s were more regular and solid. We also noted that she had more energy. I just took her to the vet and she was given a "clean bill of health" and deemed (by her vet) to be in great shape for an "old lady".

Colleen, my groomer, introduced your wonderful product to me when I took my long haired cats to the pet house for grooming. I have rescued my cat friends in the Bowers area and have twenty-six beauties at this time (enough), hopefully. One of my pets, Ole Granny, ''blew in with Hurricane Floyd". She needed extensive work done after a year of antibiotics for a a serious gum infection that required her teeth be removed. I have been feeding her, and the remainder of my pets, Science Diet (for forty years). When I broughtthe Beaverdam Pet Food home I mixed it with the regular food, but they chose to eat only the Beaverdam food. Even Ole Granny started gumming the crumpets as opposed to the Science Diet canned food.
Earlier in the month my wonderful mobile veterinarian came by to vaccinate my pride and remarked that Ole Granny wasn't`t looking too sporty. Since granny started eating Beaverdam Pet Food (Sheila`s Pick), she has a whole new self - beautiful coat, limp is gone, and energy uplifted. When my veterinarian returned for some of my famous cowboy coffee, she couldn't believe that it was the same cat. Now all of my beautiful friends have a lovely new countenance. We all thank you. Now we are Beaverdam folks, too.

My dogs love the food. Roxy the picky 35 lb keeshond comes running for her meals now. She eats it right away instead of letting it sit around guarding it. She is getting the food in the baby blue labeled bag (Hi- energy ). Gloria, the dachshund is eating from the bag with the bright yellow label ( Hi- Protein ). She is constantly battling a weight problem and now suffers from an enlarged heart. Her medications strip her of potassium & who knows what else. It makes me feel better about giving her your food knowing that it is not only for the older dog but also contains needed nutrients. She also, loves the food & looks forward to her meals.

When I was given a few bags of the food to try at the BOW training this August I was thrilled to find a person who seemed to care about what was going into the food. Excited to come home and feed it to my 2 dogs and my cat. They all loved it which was great, but the biggest difference I noticed was my 7 1/2 year old cat started to act more lively jumping all over the house, chasing the dogs it is wonderful to see. Along those same lines my very mellow great dane/ shepard mix Harold, who is 6 years old and doesn`t do much more than sleep has been chasing my 6 month old puppy Baxer( a lassie collie / shepard mix) all over the place. The two of them play all the time now.Its great to see all my animals with so much energy and looking so healthy with shiny coats. A big hello to all my dog friends
Let me introdce myself, I am a female mixed breed long haired dog with an attitude. My vet says my attitude comes from the chow in me, and I also remember being tossed out along the road when I was just a 6 week old pup.
The good news is that I was rescued and found a wonderful home with a loving and caring human, that was 8 years ago, Along with my attitude I have always been a very finicky eater, there wasn`t much in the way of food that would wet my appetite, but food like table scrapes which is a no-no is what I loved to eat.
But along with the extra weight that I gained totaling 50 lb came hip dysplasia in
both hips, and that made me very miserable to say the least.
One day recently my human friend campanion brought me home a free sample of
Beaverdam an all natural dog food, much to my surprise and that of my human
friend I loved it. Now I actually look forwad to my daily meals, I have been on the Beaverdam Hi-Protein now over a month and I am feeling great, along with the help of my excellent vet Dr. Christ Coon I have started losing some weight so far 1 1/2 lbs If you could have seen me before and then see me now since eating Beaverdam you would not belive I am the same dog, I feel healthy and energized and acting like a puppie again. So if you are having any problems that I have mentioned, or if your healthy and just want to stay that way, you gotta try Beaverdam, ask your human friend to pick you up a bag, you`ll feel better for it , belive me, Time to run, my human friend wants to play.

In July there was a young lady at the Smyrna Food lion store helping to promote the Beaverdam Pet Food, and was giving free 5 lb samples bags of pet food for those that were interested, she was very helpful to me, because I have 3 dogs,I feed the large outside dog Skipper`s choice and the two small house dogs I use
Hi-Protein, I came home with the samples and my dogs loved it. Later that week I took my pit bull/ boxer to the vet for his yearly check up, I showed her the pamphlet and she really liked the ingredients and was pleased that I had put my pets on that food. of couse in the past I always used purina, I looked at the ingredients of fit and trim compared to Beaverdam and there is a difference.
Let me tell you my pit bull is a very picky eater,when he does not like a food he will tip over the bowl and we have to clean it up, The first night we gave him the new food he clean up the bowl We were excited that we finally had something
that they liked, My two other dogs are a mimi dachshund and she weights 10 lbs and the other one is a Chihuahua and he weights 7 lbs and they both love the Hi-Protein product, They all seem to be a lot happier now, and I have not said anything about the more energy they seem to have. The young lady said that her grand father owned the company, well I want to thank him for sending her to the food lion stores she was very nice lady and grandpa should be very proud of her , I will continue buying this dog food for my pets.

Last week I given a sample bag of your Beaverdam Dog Food. My 7 month dog has had diahrea and loose bowels since the day I got him. I`ve had him checked many times for worms but always negative. As a last resort, I started him on the Beaverdam Puppy/Adult food.I love it and so does he. In less than a week he no longer has a problem with his bowels. I have 8 cats ( 6 indoor 2 outdoor ) and a dog, My dog is nine years old and the cats range in age from four to twelve years of age.
After reading the information that you sent to me on your products over a year ago, I have been feeding all my "Critters" your food. They were previously fed an expensive food that is often Recommended by vets across the country. your food is reasonably priced and my pets seem to be thriving on your products.
The cats do not shed as much and rarely have hair balls.

Hello, In an attempt to find beef (and other meats ) not loaded with antibiotics and hormones, we discovered Sam Yoder`s Farm & Store.
We decided to look at Beaverdam Pet Food and were astonished at the price!We
read the article contained in your brochure right in the store, I knew we had to try this food for our two dogs: afterall, if we were going to eat healthy, I wanted my dogs (who are basically our children !) to eat healthy, too.
it`s only been just a couple days I know, but here`s the really surprising thing. One of my dogs is a German Shepard dog, she is from the Rescue and has always been a picky ("picky doesn`t even really do it justice) eater.
We have been feeding Iams (in the green bag) for quite some time because it seemed to be the one thing that she`d eat And not give her loose stools. As soon as I put it down,she ate the whole thing--AND DID NOT GET DIAHREA !!!
I cannot wait to see what happens with some longer-term use of the product. In quality and price, it seems it cannot be beat. I am thrilled that both my "kids love the food, and we are thrilled with the price and qualty.

Ok, so maybe I haven't eaten it but it thrills my heart to see my dogs eating it and loving every bite
I do poodle rescue and have 8 at the moment. I was giving my dogs Beneful when I noticed that they were turning an unpleasent rust color every where they nibbled themselves, I called Beneful about this and found out they have red food dye in their food. Then when we had all this food recall and I just didn`t know what to do. Was looking around Food lion in Denton MD, when I saw the Beaverdam display. I carefully read the information and got tears in my eyes because I was so relieved. I immediately bought a bag, grateful too, for the pricing, and have been feeding it to my dogs ever since.
Belive it on not, I do a free feed and have little problems, They eat the food with enthusiasm, have not put on any weight, and their coats are improving.
Also, sent out an email to about 225 friends and got a good responces from them, Now I an taking bags of food across the bay bridge to friends who can`t find it over there. Their dogs are loving it too.
